The role :
Our client, a global automotive company based near Epsom, Surrey is looking for an E-commerce co-ordinator to join the E-commerce department, which has seen significant growth in recent years with the addition of new platforms and a greater volume of customer orders. To continue to nurture this growth, the department is being expanded by recruiting an E-commerce Co-ordinator. Within this exciting opportunity you will :
This is a key role within the E-commerce Department where you will be responsible for managing e-commerce customer communication, working closely with the First Line Customer Service team, and contacting customers directly (via email) to manage returns and escalations. Given your ownership of this area, you will have the freedom to introduce new ways to improve communication and to ensure customer satisfaction.
To further ensure that our customers have a great experience, you will be responsible for monitoring our fulfilment processes, with support and regular contact from our warehouse to manage returns and to ensure that our excellent delivery times are met.
You will also be encouraged to conduct your own analysis and to manage your own projects. By coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, you’ll be able to introduce initiatives to drive revenue and efficiency across our e-commerce channels.
You won’t be doing this on your own, you’ll be working closely with your Line Manager and the Placement Student within the department. Alongside this you will also have regular contact with the First Line Customer Service Team and the Fulfilment Centre to coordinate operations.

*Knowledge of marketing, to help with attracting customers to our products
*A strong sense of empathy, to ensure you can satisfy customer needs and manage stakeholder relationships
*A drive to want to innovate and optimise processes, to ultimately improve the department’s performance
Qualifications and experience you’ll need:
*Excellent written English
*Customer service experience
*Experience selling on eBay/Amazon
*Experience using the order management software, Linnworks
*Microsoft Office application expertise (Excel etc.)
