Job Description:
The eDiscovery Senior System Administrator, based in London UK, provides technical services to their hosted software solutions. The position requires someone that is detail oriented with a strong desire to provide exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a background in server virtualisation, managing servers, and storage for highly available software solutions with large data volumes.
Job Details:
Administration of the Virtualization technologies in the eDiscovery environment; VMware, Citrix, Netscalar
Administration of server technologies including the management of physical servers and operating systems
Administration of SQL 2008 environment/DBA
Collaborate with their eDiscovery Application and Hosting teams for optimising infrastructure and deployment of new technologies
Participate in escalated incident management and solving problems in a cross team environment
Other projects and tasks as required

The Candidate:
Essential Skills:
4+ years experience supporting Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Servers
1 – 3 years experience supporting Linux, preferably Red Hat
Experience with Microsoft SQL 2008
Microsoft clustering experience desired
Experience with Windows PowerShell, Unix shell, or Perl scripts
Certifications in VMware (VCP), Citrix (CCA/CCAA), or Microsoft (MCITP Enterprise) desirable
Strong communication and a desire to deliver a high level of customer service
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent experience

As part of the IT Shared service centre of The Client Group, the main responsibility of the role is to develop, support and maintain application systems. This role will require communication and travel across Europe at all levels, knowledge of project management, business understanding (B2B, B2C) as well as .NET & DB skills.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To assist the Client Group customers manage their co-operative relationships with their customers by the use of electronic data interfaces.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Working in a team offering EDI and interface services to Client Group customers across the EMEA region.

Monitor the running of all of the EDI systems (TLE, BizManager and Axway).
Maintain all support calls within the confines of ITSM.
Communicate with customers, suppliers and third parties to resolve issues.
Maintain the EDI systems as required, for example ensuring certificates are updated.
Learn about EDI with a view to do EDI mapping changes.
Work shifts between 07:00 and 19:00 and occasional bank holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Qualified to at least the equivalent of GCSE level
Confident & articulate
Strong interpersonal skills.
Competent with tools such as Word, Excel, email and the Internet.

R&D SW Radio Systems Consultant / Engineer – Ireland

R&D SW Radio Systems Consultant / Engineer is required by my client, a leading software house specialising in mobile solutions based in central Ireland, to work at their client site (also in central Ireland).

Job Purpose:
The product is an internal performance management application for multi-vendor and multi-technology environments. It collects and processes data for use in performance reporting, trouble-shooting, resource planning and service assurance. We need to build a team of Software Systems people to help us develop new products and applications in our Roadmap. Specifically we are looking for members of that team to be knowledgeable in the area of 3G and 4G call protocols and workflows.

Responsibilities:

As an OSS R&D SW Senior Systems Role:
* Development of Telecom Management Software suites for Mobile Networks.
* Large scale software development projects with opportunities in a number of areas in the early part of the development cycle.
* Customer Requirements Analysis and Solution proposals.
* You will be competent in delivering Pre-studies, Feasibility studies and early design analysis
o You will provide the required technical data from radio networks required to build product workflows
o You will provide WRAN and LTE technical data as input to build correlation rules and pre-defined queries.

* Management of Mobile (WCDMA & LTE) Network domains.
* Support Operational Product Manager and Design team

* Full development life cycle design

The successful candidates will have good communication and documentation skills with strong experience in the following areas:
* Proven experience in software development;
* Systems analysis, problem isolation, diagnosis, and resolution;
* Experienced and competent in delivering pre-study, feasibility studies and early design execution.
* A very strong and experienced Network Domain Expert with experience in providing the required technical data from 3G (WCDMA) and 4G (LTE) networks to build Customer Experience Management and Service Assurance Product workflows as part of an agile development team.
* You will be knowledgeable on events or data that is needed from the nodes (RNC, SGSN, eNodeb and MME) and how to correlate it to present the use cases in the most efficient way
* Knowledgeable on the 3G(WCDMA) and 4G(LTE) traffic flows and traffic protocols
* Experience in Network trouble shooting and Call Failure Analysis
* Knowledgeable on Network Tuning and optimization
* You will have skills on data mining technology and you will provide learning from experiences in research in this area.
