Senior Software Developer
Leatherhead (Currently home working)
£65-75,000 plus 10% bonus and package

Innovative SaaS company continue their transformation from a NFP and as such continue growing and heading in the right direction. They currently seek a Senior Software Developer to join their expanding team.
You must be innovative and a self-starter; involved in the full development life cycle from requirements reviewing, software development, testing of implementations and production support.
Working closely with the Senior Cloud Architect, Technical Programme Manager, Product Owner and distributed digital delivery team.
The areas of responsibility for the Senior Software Developer include:

Duties & responsibilities (in an ideal world):
Cloud based software development
*10 years’ software development experience
*5 years’ direct experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle in a B2C cloud based data publishing environment.
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET Application Lifecycle Management (Visual Studio 2019, Azure, Azure DevOps)
*Strong knowledge of C#, REST APIs, JSON, Schemas, PowerShell
*Strong knowledge of data management, noSQL and analytics.
*Strong knowledge of reporting tools, such as PowerBI
*Experience of Azure end-to-end design patterns using PaaS
*Experience in distributed systems design
*Strong knowledge of security and identity management
*Experience of relational and non-relational database technologies
*Experience of Agile and Scrum methodologies
*Experience in working in a distributed team environment
*Knowledge of best practice customer data management and benchmarking
*Exposure to product-centric work structures
*Utilise best practice analysis techniques, design patterns and data modelling.
*Preferably have exposure to SEO and associated analytics and marketing platforms
*Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
*Strong knowledge of Cloud Native development and serverless technologies
*Strong knowledge of full stack web based software development
*Strong practical understanding of service-orientated architectures, micro-services, clean architecture, domain-driven design
*Work with the business to understand requirements to translate these to technical requirements for the development team
*Support the development team in terms of code quality and reviews, supporting technology decisions, and assisting with architecting of complex distributed cloud based systems.
*Understand the systems at a detailed technical level and define implementation options
*Aid with the planning of projects, sprints and milestones
*Analysis and documentation of technical projects
*Prepare system requirements and specifications for new or existing projects and products
*Develop, maintain and improve existing systems
*Clear communication with the business is an important aspect of the role; you will need the ability to understand their needs, talk about technical aspects in non-technical language and translating their needs into system requirements for you and others to develop.
*Assist with and implement system deployments using CI/CD
*Mentor other members of the Development Team
*Participate in any other duties which the Senior Software Developer is qualified and / or sufficiently experienced to undertake.
*Preferably have experience of working in an Agile (Scrum) Development environment
*Preferably be familiar with Test Driven (TDD) and Behavioural Driven Development (BDD), including Integration, automation and unit testing
