Product Specialist – Permanent, £40-42K + bonus – near Epsom, Surrey (commute easiest by car).

The Opportunity :

Our client, a global automotive company based near Epsom, Surrey is looking for a Product Specialist to join Product Marketing Team.

The Role
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence first-hand the development of new product introductions that meet customer needs, are well specified and competitively priced, and are designed to help the client achieve their commercial objectives. The job holder will be ideally placed to influence key business decisions and will gain valuable experience of interfacing with senior management, the Centre Network, the field teams and Europe and on occasion the client’s global HQ.

The role involves frequent contact with a wide range of stakeholders at the UK head office and in Europe relating to new model development and new model launch planning. The role is responsible for detailed analysis, and appropriate presentation, of market, segment and competitor activity to inform key decisions, for the execution of the vehicle launch process and the timely fulfillment of submissions to the European head office to support new model development introductions.

Skills & Experience:

Applicants should have the following attributes;
*Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills with attention to detail
*Good at Problem Solving
*Background in delivery – cross departmentally and able to show the scope / scale of impact of that delivery
*Able to work autonomously and as part of a team to consistently deliver results
*Demonstrate the ability to influence and build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
*Able to see projects for groups of stakeholders through from start to finish
*Good at coordinating programmes
*Able to handle Ad Hoc requests and projects
*Analyse data, identify trends and make considered recommendations
*Demonstrate an interest and understanding of the UK vehicle market.
