We work across the Toyota business & with Franchise Partners to create a sustainable business model across all customer segments, channels & routes to market in line with new/changing customer expectations & market dynamics
What you’ll be doing:
The role is made up of 3 core components –
Work collaboratively across OneToyota teams to drive performance & ownership of our Retailer Facing Change Programmes (Transformed Retailer & Future Lexus Retailer) – inc. development of best practice (40%)
- Be the organisation subject matter expert for the Transformed Retailer & Future Lexus Retailer programmes
- Engage with all business areas to review progress and agree next steps to drive performance and engagement.
- Lead the programme communication strategy to ensure cut through of key messages
- Develop Best Practice strategy to ensure real life best practice is understood and lands meaningfully
- Work with Senior Manager Network Transformation & Strategy Planning to develop programme strategy for 2026 onwards
Manage Network Transformation programme office to ensure appropriate project/programme structures are delivered and programme/project benefits are realised. (40%) To include:
- Own & evolve reporting for programme,
- Own governance for Network Transformation Programme,
- Analysing data to understand organisational & programme trends to support benefit realisation and to steer programme direction.
- Drive healthy project & programme disciplines across the programme of works to ensure consistency of approach & successful delivery
- Co-ordinate with Network Operations and Network Development teams to ensure a timely and efficient delivery of project milestones (to include but not exclusively planning, charters, milestones, communication, risk management)
- Work with Senior Manager Network Transformation & Strategy Planning to develop programme strategy for 2026 onwards
- Liaise with the network and internal teams to ensure relevant areas are aligned and key activities progressed
- Track progress and support the compilation of report- outs for executives.
- Support the communication and buy in to projects, working to create cross stakeholder alignment
Line Manage small Programme Office team to deliver projects – with focus on personal development of team (20%)
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Excellent communications skills
- Project management qualifications or equivalent
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Honours degree level or equivalent
- Experience working cross functionally within a business and with stakeholders across all levels
Desirable
- Experience working with the Automotive industry
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Effective Project management skills with the ability to visualise key elements to get buy and engagement.
