TLP has proudly partnered with Toyota (GB) PLC for over 25 years, and we are seeking a talented individual to join our One Toyota Fleet team. This role will be employed by TLP on secondment to Toyota (GB) PLC.
The One Toyota Fleet team plays a vital role in delivering Toyota, Lexus, Kinto, and TFS fleet volumes, ensuring that all sales channels are operating effectively to meet targets. As a key commercial area of Toyota GB, we are committed to achieving sustainable business and sales goals.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Public Sector Manager, you will work alongside one other Public Sector Manager for the UK, focusing on maximizing fleet volumes across multiple Toyota brands. Key responsibilities include:
- Account management to maximize all revenue streams
- Driving opportunities for electric vehicles and vans in the public sector
- Understanding and influencing policy on alternative fuel adoption
- Tender management, including collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful bids
- Building strong customer and stakeholder relationships through face-to-face meetings and industry networking
- Proactively planning for new products and mobility services
- Forecasting, performance monitoring, and CRM system management
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to maximize account potential
- Ensure excellent customer service throughout the vehicle lifecycle
- Build relationships with Toyota & Lexus Business Centres for joint opportunities
- Foster collaboration between stakeholders to enhance customer experiences
- Conduct weekly forecasting, manage the order bank, and monitor future performance
- Support events and feedback initiatives as required
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Key Account Manager with a strong commercial background
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced sales environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with Excel and CRM systems
- Effective numeracy and analytical abilities
Desirable:
- Experience in fleet services or leasing
- Familiarity with BI reporting
