Role in a nutshell: Develop Used Vehicle ‘Approved’ programmes for Toyota & Lexus, growing used retail sales and creating loyal customers in the process:
- TGB – define and refine Approved Used programmes, working with Marketing & Communications to create meaningful & deliverable customer promise and operational delivery and communication
- Network – act as champion for Used vehicle network standards, driving sales through delivery of enhanced customer promise and work with relevant internal teams to support network training and ensure/audit network delivery of standards and sale targets.
- Customer – enhance the customer experience through an enhanced customer promise brought to life through the used website (UVL)
- Brand – increase Toyota/Lexus brand purchase consideration for used cars, working with Marketing to communicate benefits of Toyota/Lexus Approved Used vehicles.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering growth in Franchise network sales of Used Vehicles, via development of network programmes, standards, reporting and targets by:
- Leading the development and communication of the ‘Approved Used’ customer promise and standards programmes
- Driving the Used purchase customer experience from both the UVL and network perspective, monitor performance using CRS reporting and providing insight and suggestions for improvement opportunities
- Management of Specialist, Used vehicle Online retail to develop Direct sales proposition and provide direction/strategy for the customer journey through the UVL
- Work with the Academy developing the used training curricula – build upon 2024 Used Vehicle Experience Programme with the development of a manager training programme
- Input into/localization of TME TSM Toolboxes
- Working with Marketing, provide performance insight to support marketing campaigns, both brand and tactical, providing supporting research briefs where necessary
- Determining appropriate measurement and audit processes to ensure customer promise and approved used Standards are delivered by the network as we move to “Benchmarks” in 2025
- Managing the development and performance of network sales targets, working with the TCO and Operational teams to ensure targets drive required overall performance yet provide a fair & level playing field for network partners.
- Working with Value Chain & 1T stakeholders, establish/develop opportunities for the sale of VLV products as part of Approved Used – Service Plans, Insurance, Accessories etc.
- Work with TFS, TIS and Kinto to develop finance solutions to increase finance penetration and “assets under control” with a seamless customer and network approach.
- Designing reporting needs alongside IS and Marketing to ensure we can deliver full visibility of network performance, issues and opportunities.
