Agile Business Analyst – Retail Banking
Work from home initially
You would work PAYE through my consultancy client so you would receive holiday pay and pension as well as assistance in finding your next role! (Rate circa £505 – £545 per day)
Assist the business in defining the functional roadmap, drive prioritisation discussions, document detailed requirements and deliver functional design to best solve the problem. Role will also assist with translating business requirements into technical and functional specifications. This role will be the owner of the functional requirements & the product backlog, act as the key functional point of contact for both business and IT team and be the primary contact for partner systems for system integration requirements.
Good understanding / experience of working in an Agile environment, especially thin slicing of stories
Strong Experience working collaboratively with a UEx designer to define User Journeys/stories
Experience of being involved in a project that delivered a large scale frontline/business initiative – given this tool will have such a wide user base, this is an added dimension of complexity to the project, hence it could be useful to have someone who is aware of the potential risks.
Comfortable working across IT and business needs on a project. Full life cycle Business Analysis experience from requirements definition through to implementation within a business facing IT environment
Complete formal knowledge of the document life cycle, terms of reference, technical and functional specs, business requirements and business cases.
Experience working with offshore development, analysis & test teams
Ideally having previous (developer) experience in some relevant language – but linked to a business or credit risk related activity
Ability to work in a customer facing environment in order to evaluate complex requirements to design the most appropriate solution whilst working with business representatives, business analysts and developers.
Good analysis and design skills
Good understanding of RDBMS/ Datawarehousing concepts
Clear, effective verbal and written communication.
Team player able to work both cross team and cross border
Proactive, self-starting approach to work.Ability to ‘think outside the box’.
Demonstrable evidence of working in a challenging environment
Capable of working in both a team situation as well as capable of being self-sufficient
Maintain existing design documentation and create new documents, where required to site standards
