• Working relationships - where possible, we like to meet our clients to better understand their requirements. In our experience it is important to understand not only the technical mix but also the chemistry that clients seek in a candidate

• Technically skilled - perhaps uniquely TLP utilises the technical expertise of its selection team and leading recruitment software to perform preliminary screening of all CV's submitted to ensure that only relevant and technical skills are included on the database. All candidates registered are then requested to supply two references

• Candidate briefings - all candidates are contacted and where possible interviewed and fully briefed on the role prior to the submission of their CV to a client

• Low ratio of CVs to placement - when identifying suitable candidates we will submit no more than three CV's unless otherwise requested. We typically achieve a very low ratio of CVs submitted to interview, offer and subsequent placement

• Flexibility - we recognise that paying contractors on time is of paramount importance. TLP can and does. If one of our twice-monthly BACS runs has been missed, we arrange for a cheque to be drawn and if required paid into contractors bank accounts

• Open book policy - we operate a genuine open book policy with all clients and contractors regarding rates and margins

• Training - we are able to offer contractors preferential membership to the Institute for the Management of Information Systems. This professional body offers its members a range of benefits including training, PI Insurance and operates CPD (Continued Professional Development) for computer professionals

• Support - we have a very cohesive, flexible and efficient accounts department. This is one aspect that has been commented on by a number of our clients and contractors as being a very real benefit in our ability to accommodate their requests. TLP is able to present invoices in a number of ways, according to client requests. We can offer consolidated billing and monitor the value of the purchase invoice versus the value of invoices billed to date
