About the Role

A member of the QA team working alongside the development team and in an Agile environment. The role will include, test planning, test creation, test automation and test implementation.

Key Responsibilities

*Reporting to the QA team Leader and working with the product development team, product managers and technical experts within the company to deliver high quality Software solutions. You will take an active role in insuring the quality of software releases.
*Develop and maintain the automated tests.
*Perform both automated tests and manual tests, including but not limited to regression tests, functional tests, validation tests, and performance tests.
*Maintain detailed records of all test cases, and reports on all tests run against each development release.
*Participate in design reviews, feature and release content reviews and provide a users perspective on the software solutions developed.
*Use the in house bug tracking system to report issues.
*Investigate customer reported issues and provide tier 2 support to customers.

Skills/Experience
*A proven track record in all aspects of QA activities within a product development team developing complex commercial software.
*Experience of working in an Agile environment.
*Experience of automated tests systems having both run and developed automated tests. Experience of Automated QA test complete tool desirable
*Ideally ISEB qualified
*Experience of working in a Windows environment with both desktop and enterprise systems.
*Highly motivated and articulate and used to working in high pressure environment. An appreciation of a young and growing company environment and ability to deliver against very challenging deadlines and have a flexible approach to the demands of the role.
