Training Manager

My client is a leading software house in the gambling and online gaming sector. Their Chiswick office is a state of the art purpose built glass construction boasting a lake and waterfall outside. On the inside they offer a dress down environment, open-plan airy development area with multiple scrum areas. There are chill out areas with pool tables, table football, games consoles and sofas. They also have an onsite gym and swimming pool which you get at a subsidised rate. Their environment is designed to get the very best out of their staff.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

Working with existing and future customers to help them assess their need for training in the use of their software applications.
Develop a multi-channel training strategy, where those channels will include e-learning, classroom training and ad-hoc sessions (assisted by product experts)
Act as the curator of training materials (e.g. training session agendas, handouts, e-learning software) and establish a policy for these to be maintained alongside the ongoing development of their software
Grow their ability to deliver great customer training by teaching key training skills to technical staff.
Ensure that the strategy for Information Architecture complements the needs of end-user training through a close collaboration with the Documentation Manager.

The successful candidate will have experience in the following:

Knowledge of methods to assess the training needs of an organisation.
An understanding of the particular needs of delivering external training, ideally with experience in a Consulting environment
Experience of delivering training using a variety of learning styles and methodologies
Excellent training skills, including experience of training trainers
Ability to work closely with customers (internal and external) and software development teams, building successful long term working relationships with both

Business Analysis Team Manager – Surrey

A Business Analysis Team Manager is sought by a growing Financial Services company based in Surrey. This position is key in ensuring the continued growth of the organisation.

The postholder will have 7 direct reports. The successful candidate will enure that the team is being managed effectively, that projects are being delivered and that realistic targets are being set.

The role holder will have a broad Business Analyst background and is likely to be currently operating in a Senior Business Analyst / Team Leader capacity with experience in team management. A history of working in the Financial Services sector is beneficial.

They will be results focused and action oriented, comfortable delegating where they can, but able to drive into the detail where required. They should be good facilitators, with excellent planning, problem solving and analysis skills. They are likely to be structured and organised individuals, comfortable working under pressure and able to juggle multiple competing pressures calmly and effectively. They will have excellent negotiation and communication skills and be experienced using these and influencing at senior levels.
